Can my students use screen readers?

Closed captioning can be enabled for all video lessons and quizzes by clicking the text bubble icon within the lesson window. All of our content is also screen reader friendly. A screen reader is a great tool to convert text to speech for visually-impaired students or those who may experience difficulty reading.

Students can download free or paid screen reading software or browser extensions and use the mouse or tab key to have the program read any and all content to them. The preferred screen reader for our program is NVDA, a free Windows screen reader that can be downloaded here.  Other commonly used screen readers are ChromeVox and JAWS.  Students who require the assistance of screen readers must have the software or browser extension installed on each device they use to access our program in order to convert text to speech.
