How do I install a browser onto my computer?

Install Chrome on Windows

  1. Visit https://www.google.com/chrome/.

  2. Click the Download Chrome button.

  3. If prompted, click Run or Save.

  4. If you choose Save, double-click the download to start installing.

  5. Start Chrome: Windows 7, 10, and 11: A Chrome window opens once everything is done. Windows 8 and 8.1: A welcome dialog appears. Click Next to select your default browser.
     

Install Firefox on Windows

  1. Visit https://www.mozilla.org/.

  2. Click the Download Firefox button.

  3. The User Account Control dialog may open, to ask you to allow the Firefox Installer to make changes to your computer.

  4. Wait for Firefox to finish installing.

  5. When the installation is complete, Firefox will open.

Install Microsoft Edge on Windows

  1. Visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/download

  2. Click the Download button

  3. Click Accept and Download to agree to the software license agreement.

  4. The User Account Control dialog may open, to ask you to allow the Edge Installer to make changes to your computer.

  5. Wait for Edge to finish installing.

  6. When the installation is complete, Edge will open.
