How do I use the Skill Mastery report?

The Skill Mastery report connects assessment questions from quizzes and practice tests to one or more skills students need. This report can be run for skills as they pertain to the official test targets or to Career and College Readiness Standards (CCRS). This data is helpful in determining if students are making skill gains at the class level and/or the individual student level. District or school administrators also have the ability to check skill mastery information at the school level.

From the Reports tab, click the Skill Mastery button. These are highlighted in orange when selected.

Choose the parameters for your report. For class-level information, start with Class, followed by Course and View. If you are an administrator, you will need to select a Teacher before selecting a Class. Finally, Click See Report.

Use Expand All or click on the arrows to view more information about the skills and correlated assignments.

Class level information can be helpful in lesson planning.

To drill down to a specific student, start with Student, followed by Course and View.

Individual student information can be helpful in remediating skill gaps.
