What are Credly badges?
A Credly badge is a credential that shows your learning progress. You can share a badge with employers or schools to show that you’ve earned this credential from Essential Education.

How do I accept a Credly badge?

1. When you pass a quiz or final assessment in Work Essentials, you’ll earn a badge to show your mastery!
2. When a badge appears in your HomeRoom, click the Claim button to get your badge.
3. Create a Credly account to access and share your badges.
4. When you log in, click “Accept Badge.”

How do I share a badge with an employer or teacher?
After you’ve accepted your badge, you’ll usually see a screen to share it. To share an existing badge later, you can:

1. Click on the badge on your Credly dashboard.
2. Then, click on the “Share” button.

One of the best ways to share a badge with employers or teachers is by email.

1. On the share screen, click the “Email” icon. You’ll see an email form to share your badge.
2. Enter the email address to send your badge under “Recipients” at the top. Add a message in the “Custom Message” box. Then, click “Send.”
3. Your employer or teacher will receive your badge in their email!
