Why am I getting an error message?
Why am I seeing the “Email/Password was not found.” error message?
If you are seeing this error message it may be because you are trying to log in from www.essentialed.com/students/log-in on our website.
If aren’t able to log in to your account after entering your email address and/or password:
- Make sure that you are entering your email address correctly, especially if it contains repeated characters, numbers, or special characters. Also, double check your spelling, punctuation, and spacing.
- Check if you’ve received an email from Essential Education notifying you that your account information was changed.
Why am I seeing the “It seems that the Email/Password you entered is currently not active.” error message?
If you are seeing this error message it may be because you are trying to log in from your school’s website (may look similar to www.essentialed.com/start/schoolname).
If aren’t able to log in to your account after entering your email address and/or password:
- It is likely that your school has deactivated your account. Please contact your school or your teacher concerning reactivation.
Why am I seeing the “An account with that email was not found.” error message?
If you are seeing this error message it is likely that your email address can’t be found when trying to reset your password.
If you are having this issue, try the following:
- Make sure that you are entering your email address correctly, especially if it contains repeated characters, numbers, or special characters. Also, double-check your spelling, punctuation, and spacing.
- Check if you’ve received an email from Essential Education notifying you that your account information was changed.
