What can I do if I forgot my password?
If you do not remember your password, you can reset it by using your email address you used to create your account and to log in. Resetting your password using www.essentialed.com/students/log-in page. To reset your password from this log in page: Click on Forgot password? link. Enter your email address then click the Send reset button. If the email address entered is on your account, then you should receive an email titled “Your Essential Education Password reset Request” to your inbox. Follow the link in your email and enter your new password. Click the Submit button. Resetting your password using your school’s website log in page. It will look similar to this: www.essentialed.com/start/schoolname. To reset your password from this log in page: Click on Forgot password? link. Enter your email address then click the Send reset button. If the email address entered is on your account, then you should receive an email titled “Your Essential Education Password reset Request” to your inbox. Follow the link in your email and enter your new password. Click the Submit button. Resetting your password using www.essentialed.com/start/ged-marketplace page. To reset your password from this log in page: Click on Forgot password? Link. Enter your email address then click the Send reset button. If the email address entered is on your account, then you should receive an email titled “Your Essential Education Password reset Request” to your inbox. Follow the link in your email and enter your new password. Click the Submit button. If you’re unable to reset your password using any of these three ways, double check what type of account you have. What am I being asked to add an email address to my account?
You might notice you are being asked to update you account by adding a valid email address. If you are seeing this message, you will be allowed to login 6 times before you are required to enter an email address. Don't worry though, you will still be able to use your username to login. Why are we requiring you to enter an email address? It will make your account more secure. You will be able to reset their password if you forget it.
