How can I change the test I’m studying for?

To change the test you are studying for, follow these steps: 


  1. Go to the “High School Equivalency Course” tab.

  2. Click the yellow “Change my test” button.

  3. Select your test and the language you wish to study in.

  4. Click the “Save” button.


There are 4 test options:


  • GED for the English Test - the lessons and practice tests in GED Academy are GED-Certified and will prepare you for the English version of the GED test.

  • HiSET for the English Test - The lessons and practice tests in HiSET Academy are HiSET-certified and will prepare you for the English version of the HiSET test.

  • GED for the Spanish Test - the lessons and practice tests are GED-certified and will prepare you for the Spanish version of the GED test.

  • HiSET for the Spanish Test - the lessons and practice tests are HiSET-certified and will prepare you for the Spanish version of the HiSET Test.


Study Tips


  • The test that you study for depends on your state. Check the testing availability in your state here.

  • When you switch from one Academy to another, your study progress is saved!

  • Both course options are included in your subscription - it won’t affect your cost.

  • For the language options, there are two versions of the program: English and Spanish. 

  • You can study for the test in one language and take the test in another.
